Nintendo's Wii Fit is one of the best sellers on game charts around the world. EA has decided to take advantage of its popularity and has announced a new fitness game for the Wii. The game comes bundled with… erm … rubber and strap-on accessories.

The game is called EA Sports Active and is due to launch in the Spring of 2009 in the US for $59.99. The game will have more than 20 sports like cardio boxing, softball, and tennis. A virtual personal trainer and calorie tracker will be featured as well.

The accessories will include a neoprene strap to attach the remote or nunchuk to your leg and a rubber resistance band to build strength. Celebrity fitness trainer Bob Greene is endorsing the game.
