Don't Miss: This How to find Fingerlings in Stock

Microsoft goes direct with the opening of the Microsoft Store.
The Microsoft Store is offering the complete software and hardware line-up of Microsoft. Yes this includes the Xbox 360 and the Zune players. Selling direct is something that Apple has done for a very long time. I am not sure how Microsoft explained the move to open a store to their channel partners.
The UK version of the Microsoft Store was actually already open for business. I'm not sure how well this store will be adopted. Possibly developers and small businesses might be able to find everything at one place, but the prices will be an issue unless MS is starting to compete with retailers.
