If you are looking for an interesting gift for someone on your holiday list who likes Dinosaurs, ThinkGeek has something for you. A DIY kit is available that offers three different dinosaurs that are cut from flexible plastic sheets.

The sheets are put together by sliding tab A into slot A and so forth. The three dinosaurs featured are the T-Rex, stegosaurs, and a diplodocus. Construction time is 30 to 40 minutes and they do not include light bulbs. The AC cord and switch are included. Finished lamps are about 13-inches tall.

According to ThinkGeek, the instructions for assembly are very clear and offer lots of pictures for clarity. I would bet that kids would need adult help to build the lamps. The price for the lamp kit is $19.99.
