Microsoft has launched its first iPhone app called Seadragon. The App is considered a tech preview and is available free of charge. Oddly, the iPhone version is offered before the Windows mobile version is available.

The app promises to let you see giga-pixel on your iPhone. If you aren’t sure exactly what a giga-pixel image is, you aren't alone. I have no idea what Microsoft means by that.

Suffice to say it means really big pictures and the app lets you see them and use the familiar gesture control the iPhone offers including pinch, tap, scroll and so on.
