The mess with BlackBerry Storm firmware updates continues as yet another firmware version got leaked on the web. The new firmware version available on the web is OS The latest official release has a .75 respectively .76 version number.
The guys over at CrackBerry installed the OS firmware on their Storm and say that it makes the Storm snappier all around.CrackBerry also published a video showing a BlackBerry Storm running OS
Installing this leaked firmware is risky as you never know what will happen. Especially if it bricks your Storm you are pretty much alone and RIM most likely will not help you for free. I really recommend RIM and Verizon to take measures against testers leaking firmware, it makes most consumers unsecure and uneasy about the product.
