Sony has launched a teaser site to taunt notebook fans with what could be for a new product announcement in a few weeks at CES 2009. The website simply says "On the 9th of January you will change the way you look at laptops".

Exactly what Sony has up its sleeve is unknown, but some rumors have Sony launching a MacBook Air style thin notebook. That wouldn't exactly change the way we look at notebooks though, considering we have been looking at the Air for months.

Perhaps Sony will be unveiling a netbook, some rumors point to this. I guess it would be cool if it were say a netbook with a MacBook Air profile. With the Sony name on it, you can count on whatever it is being expensive.
