Christmas is almost here and many will find a new Nintendo Wii under the Christmas tree. The Wii is a very active gaming system leading to the possibility of Wii related injuries. We have seen all sorts of Wii injuries from the so-called Wii-itis to more mundane injuries like a black eye.

A new injury has already been identified in Leeds called Wii knee. It's sad when a video game can injure people, but its lots of fun to point at those injured and laugh.

I guess we will see new Wii injuries this Christmas with the inevitable rash of busted TVs, black eyes, and broken bones.
