Sony teases on their New Zealand website a new revolutionary Sony VAIO notebook that is supposed to change the way you look at laptops forever. The new Sony Vaio is supposed to be revealed on January 9th (CES time).
It is kind of strange that only Sony New Zealand is teasing this new VAIO. Engadget already has the right guess that the teased VAIO is a small netbook with an unusually wide screen that was spotted at the FCC in early December. An extra wide format netbook might be interesting, but I would not call it revolutionary. I would call a roll-up (see roll-up PSP concept) color ePaper netbook revolutionary, but I guess we will have to wait until CES 2012 to see one. It should not be that hard, as we already have a roll-up phone.
