Ubisoft has confirmed some of its new games coming for gamers in 2009. Among the titles coming will be Assassins Creed 2, Red Steel 2, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon, and Splinter Cell: Conviction.

Ubi will also be starting some new franchises in 2009 including one based on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Avatar. One of the firm's biggest new titles will be called I Am Alive, set in the aftermath of a natural disaster.

The game will have players trying to scrounge supplies to stay alive. Ubisoft says that it expects to grow five to ten percent over 2009. I Am Alive sounds like a cool concept, hopefully the game will deliver.
