The lay-offs in the technology world continue this week with Sprint Nextel firing 8,000 employees by March reports the WSJ.
The cutting of 13% of its work force Sprint hopes to save costs by $1.2 billion a year.
Sprint is had no killer phone like AT&T has with the iPhone. Sprint is though getting one with the Palm Pre. The should have gotten that in Fall 2008 than things might look a bit different. More details about the Palm Pre.
