The economy may be bad, that won't stop many Americans from having their big Super Bowl party next weekend. Just in time for the big game, Walmart is offering some deals on electronics that will make the game more enjoyable.

Along with your food like a wing basket for $4 or chips for $2 per bag, you can also get great prices on HDTVs. In fact the prices are as good as they were back on Black Friday before Thanksgiving. Walmart has cut prices by $100 on some HDTVs for Super Bowl shopping.

One of the discounted sets is a Samsung 32-inch LCD HDTV for $498 or a larger Sony 46-inch for $1298 and you get a $100 Walmart Gift Card with purchase. You can take that $100 gift card and buy your significant other a Valentine's Day Gift so you don't forget.

Walmart isn't specific on what model the Samsung or Sony sets are, but both brands make some of the better HDTVs out there. Walmart is also a big purveyor of Vizio TVs, keep an eye out for some good deals on that brand as well. Especially the 32-inch Vizio plasma that helped power the resurgence of plasma TVs in the global market.
