If you need to get an HD signal from a component like a Blu-ray player or cable box to a HDTV that is a long way from your components you may think the only option is a really long HDMI cable ran around the room or through the attic. Gefen has three new products that will allow you to send the HDMI signal to your TV wirelessly.

Among the products is the Wireless for HDMI UWB Extender, which can send full 1080p video with digital surround and two-channel analog audio up to 10 meters in distance. The system has two HDMI inputs and analog audio output that auto switches sources for up to three devices.

The Gefen TV Wireless for HDMI 5GHz Extender sends 1080p and 5.1 digital surround sound up to 30 meters in distance with one HDMI input and output. The final product is the GefenTV Wireless for HDMI 60GHz extender. The sender and receiver system relies on leading WirelessHD technology from SiBEAM and can deliver full 1080p HD and 5.1 surround sound with a digital S/PDIF audio up to ten meters.
