Panasonic has released a new Blu-ray player model number DMR-BS850 that offers the typical Blu-ray capabilities along with a couple of new features. The player has an internal HDD and dual Freesat tuners.

That means the player can act as a dual tuner DVR for Freesat feeds allowing you to watch one show and record another. Personally, I think with today's user we need to be moving to triple tuner DVRs.

Both of the tuners are Freesat+ capable allowing you to pause and rewind live programs and are HD ready. A lower-end unit with a single tuner retails for £250 but expect the dual tuner, Blu-ray version to cost as much as three times that much at launch.
