A future Asus netbook has been revealed called the 1008HA that looks very much like the Apple MacBook Air. The notebook is very thin at only 1-inch thick and weighs 1kg.

The screen is an edge-to-edge unit 10-inches in size and it features a 92% of full-size keyboard. Those are the only real hard facts we know at this point. Asus isn’t saying what CPU will be used in the machine.

The Intel Atom is likely, but Asus could use the Via Nano or perhaps the NVIDIA Ion platform. Only time will tell what CPU is used, but my money is on the N280 for the machine. The system will supposedly ship this spring.
