Buy This Now On Amazon

The Android Market launched not long ago and offered free applications to extend Android powered smartphones. Paid apps have now arrived for Android devices and the paid section of the Android market is now open in the UK.

Paid content on the Android Market will be able to be rated by users who download the apps. That means that developers who charge too much or produce poor quality apps will be shouted down by buyers.

The major difference here is that paid apps on the Android market are not tested for security and other aspects like the applications for the iPhone on the App store. That could mean the Android market has a higher chance of selling malicious apps to users.
