All-in-one PCs are a great way to save space on your desktop and shed some of the cords that run to and from many of the computer systems we use today. Averatec has a line of all-in-one computers and has announced a new model that offers HD video playback along with a dual-core CPU and wireless mouse and keyboard.

The new system is called the Averatec D1133 AIO and is priced at $599. The system is slated to ship in April or May and will use an AMD Athlon X2 3250e CPU running at 1.5GHz. Other features will include 2GB of RAM, 250GB HDD, DVD drive, 1.3MP webcam and a memory card reader.

Graphics for the system are via an ATI HD 3200 graphics card that enables HD video streaming. The screen is an 18.4-inch model with a resolution of 1680 x 945. Connectivity options include Ethernet port and integrated 802.11b/g. The machine runs Vista Home Basic.
