I admit I don’t remember the Sega Mega Drive game console, but retro gaming fans that do will be glad to hear that Blaze is bringing the console back. The new version of the console will even play cartridges from the old system.

The plug-and-play console will include 15 built-in games including Alex Kidd, Alien Storm, Altered Beast, Golden Axe, and Sonic and Knuckles.

Last year Blaze released a portable version of the Mega Drive and the expectation is that the full console will be every bit as cool. The console is set for a May 1st launch at £39.99.
