Resident Evil 5 launched just last week and already there is controversy surrounding the title. Capcom's Christian Svensson has responded to the uproar that surrounds the company adding a Versus mode to RE5 via DLC rather than adding it to the game originally.

Interestingly Svensson takes a hard tack calling the complaints "BS" because of the strength of the original software. Someone should tell him that it's not nice to call BS on the people who buy your products, especially when they are already mad at you.

The DLC sells for $4.99 and Svensson says if you feel cheated, just don’t buy the DLC. Stand back everyone, this dude is about to get massively flamed. The versus mode allows slayer and survivor matches.
