Activision has announced that new map packs for Call of duty: World at War are now available for owners of Xbox 360 and Sony PS3 game consoles. Owners of the original game can get new maps including Nightfire, Knee Deep, and Station. A new Zombie mode map is offered as well called Verruckt.

The map pack will cost Xbox users 800 MS points and on the PS3, the pack will sell for $9.99. PC gamers may be wondering where their new maps are. The answer is Activision hasn’t announced availability for Pc gamers yet.

This may be good news, when Xbox and PS3 owners had to pay for new maps on game consoles for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, PC gamers got the maps for free thanks to NVIDIA. I hope that NVIDIA will do the same thing this time and offer the map packs free on the PC.
