Intel has announced new software tools collectively known as Intel Graphics Performance Analyzers (GPA). The suite is designed to support developers building software with the Visual Adrenaline program.

GPA allows game developers to analyze and optimize game performance on Intel Integrated Graphics platforms. Intel's integrated graphics platforms are not known for their gaming prowess. The application allows the analysis of performance on current integrated graphics chipsets and graphics and CPU platforms including the Core i7 platform.

The software is available for free to Visual Adrenaline members and can be purchased by non-members for $299 through Intel. Intel says that its Visual Adrenaline program has over 800 members including Activision, Sega, and Ubisoft.
