Windows Mobile 7 is still about one year away, but some screenshots of the next generation Windows Mobile operating systems have appeared on WMPowerUser. Via Techmeme. Are these screens real? Who knows. It is too early for a final Windows Mobile 7 UI anyway. So even if they are real the design could be just the current state of development.
The leaked Windows Mobile 7 screens show a bar based UI and carousel menus.
We are actually still waiting for Windows Mobile 6.5 that Microsoft unveiled last month at the MWC 2009, which features the signature honey comb start screen.
Windows Mobile 6.5 is supposed to land on smartphones in the second half of 2009.
