Google has announced that it has added voice control to the My Location application for BlackBerry handsets. The feature allows users to speak requests when driving or simply not wanting to use the tiny keyboard.

Google says that the system will work with UK and US English, which wasn't possible with some early voice apps that failed to understand UK voices. This forced some early users to resort to their best American accent.

The Google Mobile App is now available on BlackBerry phones using OS 4.1 and higher with the voice app needing OS 4.2 and up. The new Storm isn’t supported for some reason.
