RIM launched the BlackBerry App World and you can start downloading Apps to your BlackBerry.
App World allows you to directly download Apps from your BlackBerry or from the Desktop.
RIM features a couple of Apps that are supposed to wet your appetite including AIM, FaceBook, Brain Challenge 2 and the very cool Shazam.
To get access to the BlackBerry App World you need to first download BlackBerry App World App and you need a PayPal account for making purchases.
More details on the BlackBerry App World site.

It will be interesting to see if BlackBerry users are as active downloading and buying Apps as the iPhone community. I have my doubts.
