Nokia has finally announced a beta version of its Point & Find application that allows users to get facts about objects by taking a picture of the object with their camera phone. The new service is available in beta version right now for devices running the S60 platform.

Initially the service will only be offered in the US and the UK with other countries possibly coming later. Users will at first be able to get movie information by taking pictures of the movie posters. The service will then provide links to reviews and other related information.

The other information will include things like show times locally. I'm not sure about the usability of the movie poster bit myself. If you are at a theater where you can take a picture of the movie poster, odds are you can look the movie times up at the theater too.
