Nintendo recently launched its new portable game system called the Nintendo DSi. The little portable device has proven to be popular so far and has moved 92,000 units in only 2 days.

Pre-order sales on the portable systems were very strong according to retailers, which makes sense considering it was the first new portable console in a long time.

The DSi outsold all other console hardware combined in the UK. I wonder when Sony will be launching a new portable console to combat the DSi or if they will even bother. The DSi sells for GBP 149.99 in the UK.
