Apple developers are cranking away on the new iPhone 3.0 firmware and have released the 3rd beta to developers. Beta 2 of the iPhone 3.0 OS was released just two weeks ago.
The changes in the 3rd beta of the iPhone 3.0 OS are minor and not obvious at first.
The release notes are republished on World of Apple (Via MacRumors) if you are interested and not an iPhone developer.

Apple previewed the iPhone 3.0 OS that brings over 100 new features to the iPhone 3G and the new unreleased iPhone 2009.
