Garmin is offering a new weather application for the iPhone called My-Cast OneLook from its Digital Cyclone subsidiary. The application allows users to get accurate weather information wherever they are with animated radar, clouds, and severe weather information.

The application offers current conditions, hourly, and extended forecasts. The animated radar is NEXRAD and has cloud imagery in high detail. A StormWatch function notifies users of watches, warnings, and advisories from the National Weather Service.

Also featured is an almanac data plot in relation to the forecast. The application uses location aware features to get you weather information even if you aren't familiar with the town or city you are in and it saves past locations for quick access. The app is available now for $1.99.
