Uncharted Drakes Fortune turned out to be one of the more popular games for the PS3 last year and the follow up Uncharted 2: Among Thieves is already in the works. The game is under development now by Naughty Dog.

Sony has confirmed that the game will feature five vs. five multiplayer action and three-person coop play. The multiplayer action will include Team Death Match and Capture the Treasure.

The multiplayer action will use maps based on the levels in the game including war-torn streets in a city and Nepalese village. Christophe Balestra, co-president of Naughty Dog, said: "Adding a multiplayer aspect to the Uncharted franchise is a significant step in [improving] the re-playability of the game."
