Kids in the US can get their hands on a new tablet computer that is basically a netbook aimed at kids from 3 to 10 years old. The PeeWee weighs 3 pounds and is ruggedized to survive drops and spills.

The machine uses an Intel Atom processor, features a rotating screen with a stylus, and a Walt Disney Windows XP Home Theme. The tablet also features a 1.3MP webcam.

The little computer will come with ten age appropriate software and game titles and a security suite that allows parents to control settings and web browsing. The little table starts at $599.99, which seems more than a bit too high.
