The Microsoft Zune PMP will be getting an exclusive animated comedy series called City Council 3050 AD from Worktank. The original comedy series is based on local government C-Span channels and broadcasts the mundane proceedings of local government in the distant future.

Show creators promise that the series will take modern local and national political issues and recast them on a backdrop of the future. The pilot episode of the show will be shown later this month in Seattle.

"We are proud that 'City Council 3050 AD' will be part of Zune's exclusive online content," said Kara Costa, Director, Film + Video at Worktank. "This accomplishment is a testament to the incredibly creative and innovative work that is produced here at Worktank. We are committed to telling our clients' stories, and through this series our designers and writers can showcase their talents to a broad audience of viewers."
