At CES in January EA was on hand at the AMD meeting rooms to show off the BattleForge game and it looked slick. The RTS game is a bit like a card game that allows players to battle creatures and armies with digital cards.

The game comes with four readymade decks based on the four elements in the game and 3000 BattleForge points. The points allow players to buy additional booster packs at 250 BattleForge points per deck.

EA has announced that the price for the game has been reduced to $29.99 to entice new players to check the game out. From what I saw of BattleForge at CES, that should be a great deal for a cool game. The game requires no monthly subscription fees to play.
