It's not fair that everything cool comes to Canada way later than it comes to the U.S., but at least they're finally getting the G1 (or the HTC Dream) and the HTC Magic, which is a G1 without a physical folding keyboard. On June 2 the G1 will hit the land of bagged milk and Bryan Adams. The HTC Magic should be released then, or shortly thereafter.

Rogers Wireless is the carrier that picked up the HTC contract, so if you want your G1 or your Magic, you'll need to go through them. Their website has more information, but pricing has not yet been given.

Hopefully Android will be well-received in Canada. A big response could lead to an earlier expansion of the G2 and G1.2 over to Canada. When you consider the fact that they had to wait something like a year to get the G1, almost anything would be an improvement.
