iPhone Temperature Warning Screen Not fake

A screen shot of a temperature warning on the iphone that has been doing the rounds is apparently not fake after all according to Apple's Knowledge Base. Myself and none of the other iphone users I know have ever seen it but it does exist and if you don't take care when using your iphone it might happen to you.

The message appears when the iphone becomes too hot and a safety mechanism kicks in to protect itself from causing internal damage. If you get this message you should switch your phone off and put it somewhere cool for a while before switching it back on.There are some signs to look out for that your phone might be getting too warm
- iphone stops charging
- Display dims
- Weak signal
- Warning screen

So it is best not to leave your iphone in a hot place such as on your cars dashboard where it can be effected by the magnified sunlight through your car's windscreen. Also using applications like GPS that use a lot of processing power on a sunny day might also bring this on.
