The Apple Store offers the factory-refurbished Apple Mac mini Intel Core 2 Duo 2.26GHz Desktop, model no. MC238LL/A, for $499.99 with free shipping. (Update: It's now out of stock.) That's $100 off the cost of a new unit and tied with last week's mention as the lowest total price we've seen for this model. Features include an Intel Core 2 Duo P8400 2.26GHz dual-core processor, 2GB RAM, 160GB SATA hard drive, dual layer SuperDrive, nVIDIA GeForce 9400M integrated graphics, five USB 2.0 ports, FireWire 800, two video interfaces (Mini DisplayPort and mini-DVI), Gigabit Ethernet, AirPort Extreme (802.11a/n) wireless and Bluetooth, and Mac OS X Snow Leopard.
