We have all heard the stories about people going on vacation and getting mobile bills many times higher than expected thanks to massive out of country roaming charges. Vodafone has become the first mobile provider to remove all overseas roaming charges.

Regulations in the EU limit roaming services across Europe to 10p per text with 1MB of Data costing no more than 92p starting in July. Starting in June Vodafone customers get an even better deal.

Users will be able to talk, text and send pictures from 35 countries for the same price they pay in their home country. Customers on the Passport plan will pay a 75p fee to have the package. Even that fee is free until the end of August.
