Google's Street View service has been met with ire by many in the UK with townsfolk in some villages and cities blocking Google's street view car from entering their cities. At least the guy behind the wheel of the car can lock the doors when the villagers come out with torches and pitchforks.

This poor guy on the Google Trike has nothing to protect himself other than that geeky little bike helmet. The trike uses the same 3D camera system found on the cars and is designed to go where cars can’t.

Namely, the trike goes down forest trails, inside football stadiums and more. The contraption will allow virtual tours of historical markers and other points of interest where the car can’t go.
