Kangaroo is not having a good go of it. Orange was the latest suitor to purchase Kangaroo and has now announced that it will not complete the purchase. Kangaroo is a video on demand venture.

Details surfaced last month that Orange was considering the purchase of Kangaroo to use in its Orange TV services in France and other parts of Europe. France Telecom, Orange's parent company, says that the purchase plans failed to make it out of due diligence.

"After in-depth due diligence, we concluded that it was unlikely that an outcome which benefited France Telecom’s Orange operations would be met," the company said in a statement.
