Tony Hawk has really branched out over the years, going from a thrasher skating at home to one who skates professionally and makes a serious living doing it. He also has a line of cloths for kids that every elementary school kid I know wears.

The latest Tony Hawk video game called Ride with the skateboard controller has a launch date thanks to GameStop. The Ride game and the sweet skateboard controller we have talked about before are available for pre-order at GameStop with the delivery date of October 13, 2009.

Yeah that is a ways out for sure. The game is seriously expensive too. The PS3, Wii and Xbox 360 versions with the skateboard controller are pre-ordering for $119.99. The old price for the Xbox version was $199.99. You can get an Xbox for about that price if you shop around.
