I am not sure if Sprint hired CNN's Wolf Blitzer, but Forbes (via Techmeme) reports that Sprint is preparing "situation rooms" for the Palm Pre launch next week.
The Palm Pre is the biggest device launch for Sprint in 2009. They prepare support teams to be available to Sprint reps around the country to help immediately with Pre issues.
In case the rumors of limited supply of the Palm Pre are true, there should not be too much to do actually. But you never know. The Pre runs a brand new OS and things could arise during launch nobody anticipated.
According to Forbes, Sprint also gets support from Palm employees in stores and also additional personal has been hired for the Pre launch.
So looks like Sprint does everything to make the Pre launch a success. The Palm Pre launches on June 6th.
