Camera phones are typically not that great at taking images. There are a few exceptions to that rule and the latest exception may well be the new Samsung Pixon 12. The phone integrates a 12MP camera into the compact device.

The Pixon 12 is the world's first 12-megapixel camera phone with a full touchscreen. The device is also known as the M8910 and will launch with a 3.1-inch AMOLED screen with 10000:1 contrast.

The camera can take a picture every 2 seconds with a Xenon flash and touchscreen controller autofocus. Other features include GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity, HSUPS, Wi-Fi and up to 16GB of memory via microSD cards.
