I mentioned last week that Virgin Mobile had come up with some really good price tariffs but it seems Orange have gone one step further and come up with what must be the cheapest monthly contract I've seen.

Orange are now offering a pay monthly contract of just £5 per month, OK, so you only get a Nokia 2630 handset, 50 texts, and 50 minutes of talk time per month and you have to sign up for a 36 month contract, but for people who are trying to keep their monthly costs to a minimum, it's not bad. You can also get a handset upgrade after 18 months. There is also a £10 per month option which gets you 100 minutes, 300 texts and a Nokia 3600, or £15 gets you 200 free minutes, unlimited texts and a Nokia 6500.
