Ocular has announced that its new Crystal Touch large-size capacitive touch displays will be integrated into user interfaces on netbook, MIDs and other device types. The touchscreens support functions like slide, swipe, drag, rotate, zoom-in, zoom-out, and other gesture commands.

The capacitive touch screens are available in up to 10.1-inch size allowing use in netbooks from a variety of manufacturers. The screens use glass and are scratch resistant so touching will not affect the quality of the display.

Gesturing is available with Crystal Touch screens in TFT sizes including 3.5-inch, 4.3-inch, 5.7-inch, 7-inch, and 10.1-inch. Pricing for the screens begins at $22. It would be cool to get a netbook with gesture control screen.
