Acer Launches F900 Smartphone

Acer has debuted its new F900 smartphone that has a 3.8-inch 480 x 800 pixel touchscreen. The device sports HSDPA/HSUPA connectivity along with Wi-Fi, GPS, and Bluetooth.

Other features include GPS, an FM tuner and a 3MP camera with integrated flash. The device runs Windows Mobile 6.1 and can be tethered and used as a modem for a laptop.

One feature business users will appreciate is an integrated business card reader. The device supports Microsoft Exchange and can view and edit Office documents. The handset also supports multiple music and video formats and offers an accelerometer. A Samsung 6410 533Mhz CPU powers the machine.
