A new rumor is going around that Steve Jobs may be returning to Apple from sick leave just to deliver the iPhone speech at WWDC. Officially, Apple says Jobs is on track to return in June but rumors are growing that he will pop up at WWDC.

If we are lucky that bulge in his pocket won't be because he is happy to be back at work, but because he is hiding a new iPhone or two in there. Marketing boss Philip Schiller is expected to make the famous Jobs keynote speech.

Sources have told The Wall Street Journal that PR schleps are trying to coordinate Jobs' return to coincide with a product launch or other announcement. It could be the new iPhone or it could be the new Apple netbook.
