Averatec Shows Off 25.5-inch PC/TV Combo

Averatec has announced a new all-in-one computer with a large 25.5-inch screen, available for under $1000. The machine is capable of 1080p resolution and has a built-in hybrid digital/analog TV tuner. The device is called the D1200 and the MSRP is $999.

An Intel Pentium dual-core CPU running at 2.5GHz powers the machine and storage is to a 320GB HDD with 4GB of RAM and a 64-bit version of Vista Home Premium. Inside the sleek machines is an 8x super multi slot loading optical drive, graphics are via Intel G4500HD, and the machine has 802.11n Wi-Fi. A media center remote is included and the machine has a 2MP webcam. Overall dimensions of the system are 24.2" W x 10.5" D x 19.9" H.
