Apple does not like to talk about the CPU and RAM on the technical specifications of the iPhone 3G S for some reason. But we are geeks we want to know what is under the hood. Apple just says the new iPhone 3G S is 2x faster than the iPhone 3G.
T-Mobile of the Netherlands did what is right and published on their iPhone 3G S specifications page the CPU speeds and RAM. The new iPhone 3G S has a 600Mhz CPU instead of 400Mhz found in the iPhone 3G and RAM got doubled to 256MB.
If these numbers sound familiar, you are right. That the new iPhone would have a 600Mhz CPU and double RAM has been rumored before the launch.
