Vizio Announces XVT HDTV Line

Budget HDTV maker Vizio has announced a new line of TVs called the XVT series. The new line includes the flagship XVT series featuring TruLED with smart dimming and a 240Hz refresh rate in 42-inch, 47-inch, and 55-inch sizes.

Select models in the new line will also feature a new Vizio offering called Vizio Internet Apps with a wireless Internet connection built-in. Also offered are slim line full 1080p 120Hz refresh rate HDTVs in 32-inch and 37-inch sizes.

The high-end 55-inch VF552XVT set will sell for $2199.99 and will hit store shelves in December. Some of the new models are in stores now, like the VF550XVT with a 55-inch screen and a 120Hz refresh rate. The Slim Line sets also feature a 2,000,000:1 contrast ratio.
