An inventor names Andy Stanford-clark has designed a smart, green home that can post its own Tweets to Twitter. The home is set up to help the man go green and can tweet to show its power and water consumption.

The home is on the Isle of Wight and will Tweet things like Bathroom heater turned on and gym temperature is cold. It also posts each time £10 is spent.

The system allows the man and his family to remotely turn off appliances and it has helped them cut utility bills by a third.
