The latest version of the Bolt browser for mobile phones launched yesterday called Beta3. The new version of the browser proved to be very popular with over 1 million pages rendered for the first time since the browser debuted at the Mobile World Congress back in February 2009.

The usage of the browser in the last three months has nearly tripled according to the maker. Growth has been steady at over 50% per month and over the last three months, the number of users for the browser have nearly tripled.

Bolt claims to be about 25 to 50% faster than competing browsers on the market and displays full websites just as you would see them on the computer. The browser also supports streaming of YouTube videos and copy and pasting of text. Video files can also be uploaded to the Internet.
