Sirius XM IPhone App Surpasses 1M Downloads

Sirius XM satellite radio has announced that its iPhone App has now been downloaded over a million times since the app launched. The app launched only two weeks ago on June 18th and is now the top free app in the music category on the App Store.

Using the app, iPhone and iPod touch owners can access up to 120 channels of groundbreaking talk, sports, and music. The app also lets those with an online subscription access sports and entertainment programming from the Sirius XM service.

The app also gives users access to exclusive Internet-only channels like Sirius XM Bootlegs, Talk showcase, Music Showcase, and Comedy Showcase. The app is available free on the App Store now.
